[Friday Links] The Startup Weekend Edition
This weekend I will be attending Startup Weekend Detroit (opens new window). What is Startup Weekend? Here is a quote from their site:
Startup Weekend is a weekend event in cities around the world. A highly motivated group of developers, business managers, startup enthusiasts, marketing gurus, graphic artists and more meet and in a short 54 hour event work on building projects out. It is very much like an unconference (opens new window), where the attendees show decide the outcome of the experience.
It is being hosted at Wayne State in the new Marvin I. Danto Engineering Development Center (opens new window). I know atleast one other person from Wayne State is attending and I am super excited to meet and network with like minded people in Detroit and to help launch a company. You can follow the weekend in real time using the hashtag #swd2010 (opens new window). In the meantime enjoy these links of the week.
